Overview

The Basic edition extends Essential with Identity & Access Management, Zero-Trust access to business applications, and optional device posture, while keeping Swisscom-managed, standardized policies to stay secure with minimal admin effort. Basic inherits all Internet-browsing protections from Essential and adds application-centric controls.

Feature highlights

• Swisscom Business Account Passkeys for passwordless, phishing-resistant sign-in up to NIST AAL3.
• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA): Per-application access policies for SaaS and private apps; policies are defined in Concerto.
• Next-Gen Firewall as a Service (NGFWaaS) & Secure Web Gateway (SWG): You create an NGFW security profile in which you define the access policy and access policy rules, that include criteria to allow or reject the traffic.
• URL/IP Reputation Lookup extends the capacity by performing real-time requests to cloud servers to get the URL category and IP reputation.
• Two-Way traffic protection (In-2-Out & Out-2-In) for wireline sites: encrypted tunnel to the beem platform, ingress termination, SPI/DPI, and fixed LAN segmentation to enforce ZTNA everywhere.
• Swisscom-managed policy model: Swisscom keeps the baseline policies current, while users tune apps and Internet access.
